Spring thing

You wouldn't know it from looking out the window here in snowy, chilly Hyrum, but Spring is coming! We saw evidence of it as we toured the southwestern part of our funny (funny, as in "ha-ha"; funny, as in "peculiar"; and funny, as in "I can't believe I didn't get a ticket for going 27 over") state of Utah. Yes folks, the Garfield County Sheriff is lurking on the road from Bryce to Antimony. Beware. Luckily he swallowed my excuse that having a screaming toddler in the back seat tends to make one's foot weigh heavy on the gas pedal. Babies have their perks. But I digress... SPRING! We saw daffodils in Hurricane. Real ones coming out of the ground. I swear. We also saw some dear friends and some red rocks and some Ponderosa pine trees. Hooray for vacation, hooray for friends, and hooray for spring.
